Flags To Fly At Half Staff Thursday

Missouri Governor Mike Parson ordered flags to fly at half staff tomorrow [Thursday] to honor an Army Reserve Specialist killed in the line of duty in Kuwait on March 5. Jackson D. Johnson of Hillsboro was a Transportation Management Coordinator. He was killed when the vehicle he was in collided with another vehicle.

Hallsville School Threat Investigated

Parents in the Hallsville School District are now learning about a possible threat  investigated last week. Hallsville Superintendent John Downs sent a letter to parents yesterday (Monday) saying that a middle school student made threats toward other students. After investigating, administrators determined there was no credible threat according to Downs.
