A Harrisburg man is recovering from injuries after wrecking his vehicle in Mexico over the weekend and is facing a warrant for his arrest.
According Mexico Public Safety it happened Saturday afternoon around 2:19 at the 4500 block of East Liberty.
Police say 52 year old George Lamberson was driving his 2000 Ford truck when he drove off the road to avoid hitting a vehicle that was stopped in traffic.
Lamberson’s truck hit a culvert and landed on its roof in a parking lot.
Officers say Lamberson was under the influence of several controlled substances and was in possession of under 35 grams of synthetic cannabinoid.
He was released to SSM Audrain pending a warrant.
